-- Imperium News Service
Three of the 100 Mega-Stix Explosive Devices were detonated in the early morning hours of the 4th, instead of only one such device.
Cloudy morning skies and light drizzles did not prevent the event from taking place; and even increased the excitement of those who were there to witness the event.
All three test sites were designed with a mound of loose and unpacked dry debris covering each device, which consisted of light dirt, hay, and saw-dust; which when ignited, created three small mushroom clouds, and left three craters in the soil.
The three explosions were set-off with approximately 15 minutes in between each; and reports from within and outside of the Imperium indicated that the three explosions were heard from several miles away.
-- The Imperium and the Provisional Post both recommend on the advice of council that:
the above event should NOT ever be attempted by anyone; especially without proper supervision, and only then when adequate lesser tests are performed prior to any attempts at exploding a larger device.
Adult supervision is highly recommended; with a first aid kit, and a fire extinguisher on-hand at all times.
