South Africa beat Scotland by 7 wickets (with 160 balls remaining) in Group A of the World Cup at the Warner Park Stadium, Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Scotland captain Craig Wright missed this match as he had flown home to attend his aunt's funeral; Ryan Watson deputised as captain in his absence.
This victory meant both South Africa and Australia qualified for the Super 8 phase.
South Africa won the toss and elected to field first.
