Sir John Ryan, OSB comments on his induction into the Order of Saint Barnabas

Sir John Ryan, OSB made the following statement in a letter to the Governor-General:

Your Excellency, Robert, Duke of Florida,

Many thanks indeed for your recent communication; both Ms Blair and I
are most honoured by your nation's recognition of our recent work in the
field of Micronational development. We graciously accept this honour,
and are proud to join the ranks of your "sons of encouragement".

Due to the distance separating us, it is unlikely that either Ms Blair
or I will be able to attend the State Opening and investiture ceremony.
Having said that, please provide any available details on the date and
format of the ceremony, and we will confirm whether we can attend or
not.

In the likely event that we are unable to attend, please know that we
will be there in spirit, and will celebrate the Opening (and toast Your
Excellency) in a private ceremony here in Melbourne, Australia.
